Riders must sit only when the HT 180 Police is stationary. Segseat manuals will warn riders not to sit while moving on the Segway HT 180 Police because of the cross bar to avoid injuries in case of a fall. The seat must be down or the rider must stand when moving forward on the 180 Police model.
